Digital tools for the prevention of postoperative wound infections
Postoperative wound infections (SSI) occur in 0.5 - 10.1% of operations in Germany and are the second most common cause of nosocomila infection. We present here a bundle strategy approach to SSI prevention, showing that the Cayoo software and project (SOPHIA SSI) can be practical, effective and instructive in revealing the process quality of the department and clinic.
