Guidelines for elective surgery during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic - international recommendations and clinical experience
During the Corona pandemic, doctors and nursing staff had to transfer from other wards to the intensive care unit. Within a very short time, these people were trained and familiarised. With the help of Cayoo (formerly: SOPHIA), it was possible to share the constantly changing knowledge about patient care with all staff in the ICU. Decision-making aids for critical respiratory diseases or the need for a tracheostomy are only two of numerous examples.
Cayoo also assisted in surgery by clearly showing differences between surgical wound infections (SSI) and COVID-19 infection. Cayoo is cited here as one of the essential aspects that contributed to the successful management of the Corona pandemic at Diak Schwäbisch Hall.
